The computer yelled at me for clocking in 9 minutes early. Another server clocked in 2 minutes before she was due to come in and it yelled at her too.

And then I was doing stuff tonight like, okay when I loiter I actually do stuff okay. I reset tables, take off linens, break down the patio, windex the windows, clean the bathrooms, roll silverware, walk people to their car, help the band get their stuff out also, tell everyone to have a good night and be peppy and shit, and just make sure everyone is getting their shit done.

So I was there until like 11. Yes, I could have left earlier and not helped to roll silverware but if I help everyone else gets out quicker.

I was told I need to start clocking out at 10.

That would mean I have a 4.5 hour shift. They’re not taking into consideration that I get cut after like 2 hours on Tuesdays because it’s slow as shit.

PLUS last night I was trying to clock out at 10 to catch a fucking movie and I was still out of there quarter after. They need me. They don’t want to pay me, but they need me. A++ good money managing skills because they decide “Oh, we’re not making money? Let’s keep hiring live entertainment, wasting money on hiring outside service to do our advertising, buy tablecloths and other shit, and just fuck everyone who actually runs this restaurant over with as little hours as we can possibly get away with.” I’m talking about the servers too. And they’re being blatant about it, we KNOW they’re trying to cut labor costs but honey that is not where you are wasting your fucking money.

This place is going to be closed within 2 years at most. Fucking whatever. Actually kind of unfortunate because the food is amazing 7/10 times I’ve tried it.
